Outreach Ministry

The Outreach Ministry serves as a support group for the members and visitors to the church, as well as the community. New Members are brought into the church under the care of the Outreach Ministry. Duties of the Outreach Ministry include:

Collection of new member information

New membership and baptismal correspondence

Visitor correspondence and follow-up

Provide assistance to HMC Greeters/Hostesses

Watch Care Program

Maintain sick, shut-in, and bereaved contact list

Relay special prayer requests from the members and visitors to the Pastor and/or Associate Ministers for Special Intercessory Prayer

Act as liaison between His Sheltering Arms and other community agencies

Prepare and distribute educational handbooks to the membership

Maintain church contact with Baptist Associations, and assure payment of associational dues
